SciBit Scientific Bitware Pty Ltd was founded in Bloemfontein in 1994 with a straightforward mandate: add measurable business value through technology. Over 30 years later, that mandate has not changed — but the technology certainly has.

What began as a specialist IT services firm in the Free State has grown into a multi-disciplinary technology partner covering managed IT, electronic and software engineering, physical security and infrastructure, hardware supply, power backup, and web design. Clients range from national retail chains and pharmaceutical research institutions to farms, medical practices and attorneys.

We manage over 2 800 devices, back up more than 1 100 accounts every day, own 1 300+ TB of on-premise cloud capacity and process 9 800+ records per minute across our systems. The scale is the result of 30 years of continuous growth in real-world operational environments — not benchmarks.

SciBit operates from Bloemfontein, Free State. Our team answers the phone, shows up onsite and stays involved after delivery. That is what "support" has meant here since 1994.
